„Das Nordic Palestinian Film Festival (NPFF) wurde 2022 von Filmemachern gegründet, die sich für Gerechtigkeit in Palästina einsetzen und die bedeutende Rolle des Kinos in der Gesellschaft anerkennen. Das NPFF organisiert Filmfestivals in den großen Städten der nordischen Länder.
Die Premiere seiner ersten Ausgabe fand 2024 statt. Das Festival präsentiert Filmemacher, die sich für Gerechtigkeit einsetzen und Film als eine bedeutende Kraft in der Gesellschaft betrachten. Das NPFF ist eine gemeinnützige, unpolitische und nicht-religiöse Organisation.
Die Einnahmen aus dem NPFF werden junge Filmemacher in Palästina, die in Gaza und im Westjordanland tätig sind, bei der Entwicklung ihrer Filmprojekte unterstützen.“

The Nordic Palestinian Film Festival (NPFF) was founded in 2022 by filmmakers who are committed to justice in Palestine and recognize the important role of cinema in society. The NPFF organizes film festivals in major cities across the Nordic countries.
The premiere of its first edition took place in 2024. The festival showcases filmmakers who are committed to justice and see film as a significant force in society. The NPFF is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization.
Proceeds from the NPFF will support young filmmakers in Palestine working in Gaza and the West Bank in developing their film projects.“
